Peyton and Kameryn met through a mutual friend in the fall of 2018 while they were both attending Stephen F. Austin State University. It was only a few days later that they met in person for the first time at Banita Creek Hall. Kameryn would spend every Thursday night spinning around the hardwood floor, while Peyton had never really danced a day in her life lol. Kameryn noticed Peyton dancing and decided to go for a spin on the next song. The two met the next day for dinner at Peyton’s then-favorite Mexican food place, Casa Tomas. The first thing Peyton noticed about Kameryn was her eyes. Peyton confessed all she could think was, “wow”. Kameryn quickly noticed how naturally funny Peyton was and found herself constantly laughing. They bonded over their love for Disney World, sports, family, music, and many other things. It didn’t take long before they would be inseparable and realize that they wanted to take things to the next level. Peyton asked Kameryn to be her girlfriend in January 2019 while they were two-stepping at one of their favorite dance halls in College Station, Texas. The two have since shared multiple homes, went through career changes, survived a tornado, and somehow ended up with three fur babies. They’ve enjoyed going to concerts, traveling, dancing, attending sporting events, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. After 5 years of all this adventure, Peyton figured it was time to seal the deal with a ring! Peyton finally asked Kameryn to marry her on January 13, 2024. The two have never been more sure about anything in their lives and can't wait to celebrate!
