Our wedding will be at Black Rock Mountain State Park. The ceremony will be held in the amphitheater and the reception will be held right next door in the Mellinger Center. Both of these are located next to the campgrounds.
The parking near the campgrounds is limited. There are two handicapped parking places right in front of the Mellinger Center. If you cannot find parking on the mountain or would rather just avoid the drive up altogether, we will have some volunteers to help transport guests up to the venue. You will be able to park at the Mountain City United Methodist Church and one of our "shuttles" will come to pick you up from there.
Cocktail/Semi-formal. We do recommend comfortable shoes. We don't expect guests to be hiking any trails in their semi-formal attire, but we will be outside and want you all to be comfortable.
