Dress Code: Upscale Casual. Think date night attire but nothing too formal! In January, Englewood evenings can be on the cooler side (around 54–73°F on average), so we encourage you to bring a light layer to stay comfortable as you celebrate with us.
We want to welcome you to our little slice of paradise before the big day. Meet us at The Sandbar, a lively waterfront spot on Manasota Key across from Englewood Beach. Enjoy drinks, appetizers, live music, and time to relax and mingle before the big day.

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies may wear midi or floor-length dresses, and gentlemen can wear slacks with a button-down shirt and tie. Please, no jeans, sneakers, or white attire. Magnolias on the Bay is a charming waterfront venue on Manasota Key in Englewood, Florida. It holds a special place in our hearts—it’s where we celebrated our engagement the very day we got engaged! We can’t wait to share this beautiful, intimate setting with you as we say ‘I do,’ with its stunning bay views. Note to guest: Parking: Magnolia’s has very limited parking, so we recommend a little ‘drop-off and stroll’ plan. The driver can drop guests at the entrance of Magnolia's and proceed to park at the north end of the Englewood Beach lot—free and just a short walk back to the ceremony. After the ceremony, the driver will pick everyone up at the entrance to escort them to Chapel Creek for the reception. This way, everyone arrives relaxed and ready to celebrate.

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Cocktail & Social Hour will begin as guests begin to arrive at Chapel Creek. The night will continue with dinner, dancing, and celebrations.
