Catherine Pass Trailhead

A popular scenic mountain pass and trail located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The trail is known for its challenging but rewarding climb through wildflowers to a high pass with views of several alpine lakes, including Lake Mary, Lake Martha, and Lake Catherine. It offers opportunities for hiking and fishing and is often part of longer routes, such as the one connecting Alta and Brighton.

Cecret Lake as it is also known, is one of the premier wildflower hikes in Little Cottonwood. Family-friendly, and usually bursting with color during wildflower season. About a 2 mile round trip. The lake is situated at the base of Sugarloaf Peak and Devils Castle, which provide a stunning background to its crystal clear waters.

Peruvian Chair Lift

The Peruvian Chairlift transports sightseers over 2,400 vertical feet in just 16 minutes. Stunning views and wildlife sightings make this a can't miss experience. A short walk through the Peruvian Tunnel provides access to Mineral Basin where wildflowers and hiking trails await. Tickets for the Peruvian Chairlift and the Summer Scenic Tram are interchangeable, allowing guests to ride up on one lift and down on the other. A .6-mile hike is required on an unpaved trail between the Tram and the top of the Peruvian Chairlift.
