We met at the Jamerson YMCA about five years ago. From first interactions with each other we were both unimpressed. If you would have told us in that moment we would be standing together at an alter getting married we would have laughed hysterically. Fast forward a few months later, Peyton started working at the Y and this is when we slowly started to get to know each other. We soon formed a friendship through our small employee friend group. We all started hanging out more and he would linger at the front desk a little longer than everyone else, of course I was oblivious to it. It wasn't until I got a text from a friend asking who he was and saying he was super cute and funny that I started noticing him in a different way. I thought, "hmm yeah I guess he is pretty goofy and very handsome." A few months later he came to my graduation and I realized maybe he does like me? (Still not sure though because I was very VERY oblivious). Not long after we received confirmation from a nosy friend that we both did in fact like each other, and the rest is, as they say, history!
