When do I need to RSVP by?

Where is the wedding located?

Answer

Due to both our families being so large, we're going to be outside the Asheville courthouse. An officiant will marry us outside, and then we'll go back inside to finish up paperwork and you'll head off to our lunch location.

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask that everyone dress semi-formal. As it might be cold, you should prepare to have something to keep you warm while we're outside. (No jeans, t-shirts, tank tops, or shorts.)

What if I can't attend?

Answer

Please know that we understand that you may not be able to come. Life can't be put on hold just for us. A larger reception will be happening next year to celebrate our love, and you're, of course, invited. We ask that no kids attend this later celebration.

Where are we getting lunch?

This is still TBD, but make sure to check back periodically for an update!

What if I have food allergies or intolerances?

Please let us know when RSVPing if there are any dietary restrictions. We will be able to accomodate you.

We will have cupcakes available for you :) & maybe more because we both love sweets!

Who will be paying for lunch?

Answer

As our guests, we will be paying for your lunch - drinks will be separate from the food package, and will need to be paid by you. Thank you for understanding.

Who is invited?

Answer

Only immediate family members & close, close friends are being invited to our actual wedding ceremony to keep it as intimate as possible. We will be having a larger celebration next year where we will be inviting more of our friends and extended family.

Why are you having a second celebration?

Answer

We understand we’re being different in our approach to getting married, but it’s important to us both to have this smaller ceremony surrounded by the people who love us most. (And let’s be honest, weddings are expensive.) The second celebration will be more like a party and gives people more time to plan! Save the dates for this second celebration will be coming sometime in 2026!
