Puerto Rico Weather in February

February is one of the best times to be in Puerto Rico. The weather is usually sunny and warm, with daytime temperatures around 82°F (28°C) and evenings cooling into the low 70s (22–23°C). You might get a quick passing shower here and there, but overall it’s one of the drier months—perfect for wandering around Old San Juan, relaxing on the beach, or taking a dip in the ocean. The water stays warm too, about 79°F (26°C), so definitely pack a swimsuit!

For our guests traveling by air, please note that Puerto Rico has two main airports. We recommend flying into SJU, as it is the most convenient option

While this may be the most convenient choice for the celebration, there are plenty of other wonderful areas to explore in Puerto Rico, such as Old San Juan, Condado, or Isla Verde. We may be arranging a group room block at the hotel for our guests. If you’d like to be included, please contact us for more information. A minimum of 8 rooms are needed to confirm the block at a lower rate.

Travel Note

To rent or not to rent

The best way to explore Puerto Rico is by renting a car, especially if you want to venture outside San Juan to places like the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo, or El Yunque Rainforest. That said, getting around San Juan itself is easy, with plenty to see and do locally, and rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft are readily available.
