Travel Note
You can use your favorite navigation app to make your way to “Quail Flats Winter Trailhead” in Sequoia National Forest. It’s basically a big parking lot off the Generals Highway. From there we will have signs posted but you will head down the “Forest service road 14S02” for about a mile until you see Weston Meadows on the left. We’ll have signs posted everywhere but for those of you who enjoy step by step directions, that should get you where you need to be.
Travel Note
If you’re campers like we are and looking to save some money on travel, you’re welcome to bring a tent and we’ll set you up somewhere near the cabins. Between all the trailers and cabins, there are plenty of showers and restrooms to get ready on the big day. The lodges nearby also have full facilities and even laundry if you want to stay all week.
Travel Note
You’re more than welcome to rent a camper van or trailer. Many trailer rental places even offer drop off so you wouldn’t have to tow it up the mountain. We have plenty of space, all we ask is that you let us know in advance the size of the trailer and what days you are going to stay so we can make sure we organize the space the best way possible. Outdoorsy is a great site to find rentals so we attached a link to their site.
Travel Note
If you own a camper and want to bring it up to make a trip out of it, feel free! Take advantage of the fact that we have private property in a national forest where you can stay for free. We’ll be up there all week so feel free to come early and explore the park. Just let us know when you plan on heading up and the size of your rig and we'll make sure to find the best spot for you to set up.

This lodge is 15 minute drive from the cabin and a great option for those who aren't big campers. We recommend to book early though as they tend to fill up quickly.

Three rivers is a little further down the mountain but still a great option for lodging near the park. This is just one option we found in the area

You can also stay in Visalia for pretty cheap and it’s only about an hour drive up the mountain to the cabin. There are way more options in Visalia but this is just one we found for a decent price.
Travel Note
If your bookings fall through or for any reason you’re unable to make it back to your accommodations at the end of the evening… just bring a blow up mattress and a sleeping bag and you can sleep under the big wedding tent.
