Please raise a glass to the Maid of Honor! Tara and Jess first met in elementary school. Through the haze of hair gel, graphic tees, and a shared mediocrity in school athletics they became best friends in middle school. High school came and went with binges of ANTM marathons, bagel bites and more school sports. Although the two have not lived in the same state since 2011 they have remained best friends and partners in crime. Tara currently is a Speech Language Pathologist residing in Estero, Florida.
Alexi G. Saba
Best Man
The story behind the pairing of Alexi G. Saba and Shawn P. Dziepak begins at Georgetown University. It was in the fires of graduate school, supporting each other in their love for science and medicine, & letting Shawn crash on his couch with Maverick while Jess traveled the country, a brotherhood was forged. Alexi is not only a medical school student (& future surgeon *cough cough*), but one of Shawn and Jess' most trustworthy & reliable friends. Alexi has always been there for Shawn & Jess, regardless of circumstance. Through times of joy, hardships, & (too much) drinking, Alexi always offers his unwavering support, loyalty, & comedy. Alexi enjoys long walks on the beach, feeding birds pork fried rice, & screaming John Denver's "Country Roads" at the Georgetown Piano Bar.
Amanda Petz

Amanda is Jess's middle sister and life of the party. She is most commonly know for starting to celebrate Christmas by October and bringing tequila to family functions. Amanda currently resides in Los Angelos, California working in Business Development for The Real Real. Fun fact: Amanda is the only one out of three Petz girls to have a Philly accent, just ask her to say "water" and then grab her a margarita.
Josh Golub

Josh and Shawn met on the battlefield that was freshman football, fighting for the same offensive and defensive line spots. Little did they know this heated competition would build a time tested friendship. Josh is a VP for Citi bank and Shawn's oldest friend. Their proudest moments as friends might be a few high school tackles and one or two "I told ya so's", but Josh and Shawn have always pushed each other to overcome the obstacles life throws in their way. Weather it be politics, sports, or growing up as millennials, Shawn and Josh have always been there to support each other and fuel the fire of a competitive friendship. Josh enjoys hockey and college football, liberty, talking stonks (the stock market), and becoming NYC's newest amateur brewer.
Katelyn Petz

Katelyn is the youngest sister to the Bride and she was the only witness/ photographer of the proposal. If she isn't working on the trauma surgical unit as a nurse, or on her peloton, she's helping local car dealerships and standing out front as an inflatable man. If anyone needs medical attention or 0% APR financing we suggest finding this bridesmaid on the dancefloor.
Luigi Tirro

Luigi and Shawn's friendship goes back to the first class they both shared at Misericordia University as freshmen; Mrs. McCraith's Evolution/Genetics/Ecology class. It was actually suffering through the gauntlets that are biology, chemistry, & every scientific discipline in between that Shawn and Luigi became close & loyal friends. Shawn & Luigi became brothers when they became founding fathers of the Alpha Phi Delta Epsilon Theta chapter at Misericordia. Luigi is a Physician Assistant fighting on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Luigi hates being a NYC sports fan, but loves basketball, golf, & anything athletic (as long as he gets to call his own fowls). Luigi has not only proven to be one of Shawn's most loyal friends, but if it wasn't for Luigi Shawn wouldn't have met Geo & AJ.
Savannah Dziepak

Savannah is Shawn's younger sister and currently resides in Connecticut working as a Medicinal Chemist. Savannah met Jess the summer of 2015 and knew pretty quickly that Jess and Shawn were going to be more than friends. Jess and Savannah quickly bonded over their mutual love of hiking and 2000s punk music. Jess and Shawn started dating in September 2015 and Jess has thought of Savannah as another little sister ever since.
Geo Ruhl IV

George "Geo" Ruhl (the fourth) and Shawn became friends through altercation oddly enough... A backyard football game turned into an intense battle between two pugnacious and relentless athletic "has-beens". It was through their shared intense spirit for competition, the value of a firm handshake, and slightly twisted senses of humor that these two inevitably became brothers. The highlight of Geo and Shawn's friendship comes on the dance floor of a local dive bar, where in between Geo losing another beer drinking contest to Shawn, they both reenacted the infamous dirty dancing "lift" scene. This not only cemented their friendship in eternity, but reinforced the trust and loyalty shared between them.
Dayna Ehlers

Dayna and Jess met at Misericordia University where they graduated from Physical Therapy school. Dayna and Jess bonded over long days in the library and a mutual caffeine addiction that carries on today. Dayna works in Colorado Springs as a pediatric physical therapist and spends her time running the trails with her pups Honey and Daisy.
AJ Baber

AJ and Shawn met at Misericordia University through their mutual pain in the neck brothers Luigi and Geo. It was through astute observation that Shawn realized someone had to prove to be a voice of reason amongst the bedlam of college life, and that person was AJ. It was through their tireless pursuits to establish a respectable and capable fraternal brotherhood that these two became close. AJ is currently a corrections officer in New Jersey and a fellow founding father of the Alpha Phi Delta Epsilon Theta chapter at Misericordia. AJ will always sacrifice for his friends, even if that means making sure everyone gets home safe after a night of fun or even missing a game winning jump shot to make Luigi feel better about his no-foul calls.

Maverick is Jess and Shawn's four year old Beagle/ Shit-zhu mix! He enjoys long walks on the beach, belly rubs and snuggle time. Maverick has lived in 5 different states, visited 14 states, and been across country twice!
George

George is Jess and Shawn's 3 year old Lab/ Beagle mix. George loves cuddling with anyone who will give him attention, protecting the neighborhood against squirrels, and eating anything he can.
