Wedding Party

These are our people.

Megan Kowalski

Maid of Honor

Lover of downward dogs and rescue dogs. We based the life-altering decision to live together in college on our mutual interest in field hockey and each other's prom dresses. Best. Choice. Ever. Most likely to: be off with the Bride spouting off inside jokes at the wedding.

Zach Linkous

Best Man

Best friends since elementary school. May or may not have "married" the bride on the Jarrettsville playground (which has since been annulled). Most likely to: bring his own Miller Lite to the wedding.

Rebecca Koerting

Matron of Honor

She was wearing a sombrero the first night I met her and it's been a never-ending friendship fiesta ever since. Invented the athleisure trend in early 2012 when she wore yoga pants to Bentley's. Most likely to: be lasso dancing in the corner.

Steven Martin

Groomsman

Not the actor. A friendship that started in middle school, carried on to JMU, and back to Baltimore as roommates for much of their 20s. Most likely to: be the most interesting man at the party.

Mckenzie Young

Bridesmaid

The Bride's sister-in-law and tailgate dance partner. Wife to Maaachael, friend to all. Most likely to: be at the bar harassing someone to take a shot or stomp dancing with the Bride.

Michael Young

Groomsman

"Maaaaaaaachael Wayne." Loves to Party Party. Most likely to: show off his five signature dance moves. They're in-tents.

Amanda Howard

Bridesmaid

The Bride's older sister. If you can't understand what they're talking about, it's because they make up words for everything. Most likely to: dance to every song but not quite know the words.

Sam Owens

Groomsman

First time we met was in D Hall at JMU, followed by many nights hanging out in the fraternity house. Most likely to: sneak in a quick 9 holes before the ceremony.

Erin Petty

Bridesmaid

The Groom's little sister and the Bride's former teammate and musical castmate. If you pick a little, she'll talk a little (or a lot). Most likely to: drop everything she's doing when "Goodbye Earl" comes on.

Bobby Baur

Groomsman

Has known the groom since he was born and they've been great friends ever since. Firm believer that Ducks Fly Together. Most likely to: be heard quoting Mighty Ducks with the groom.

Amanda Meise

Bridesmaid

She's been one of the "framily" for so long, I forget when we exactly met, but I knew I loved her when we danced in the rain at a motocross race. Most likely to: do the Perculator.

Bobby Lange

Groomsman

Had hair so long it almost looked like a perm the first time I met him. A key contributor to the Bride's Spotify Top 100 playlist, several years running. Most likely to: be up until 3am having a heart-to-heart.

Daniel Petty

Groomsman

Cousin of the groom and former roommate in Locust Point where they could often be found in Barracudas. He helped build the barn where the reception will take place. Most likely to: be mistaken for a member of Duck Dynasty.

Sterling Travis

Officiant

From fraternity chaplain to wedding officiant - we couldn't imagine a better person to help us start our new life together. It's a little-known fact that he's from Charlottesville, VA. Most likely to: have his deep, booming voice heard across the party.

Chesney Petty-Young

Dog Of Honor

Made us believe in love at first sight. The Bride's best friend. Will definitely think this party's for him. Most likely to: Be the good-est boy at the party.
