We're Getting Married!

Jordan and Cameron first met in May 2022. For their first date, Cameron took Jordan to BrewGarden in Strongsville, OH - she talked for the entire 3 hours and he listened - it was a match made in heaven from the start! Over the course of the Summer of 2022, Jordan and Cameron went for lots of ice cream, met each other's families, and decided to start dating. Throughout the next year, they continued their romance in Northeast Ohio while they both worked towards completing their graduate studies. In May 2023, Jordan received a job offer that would take her to Cincinnati, OH... without much hesitation, Cameron agreed he would move with her once he finished his Masters of Accounting that December. They toured apartments together, picked their first home together, and moved Jordan into their future home! For the next 7 months, Jordan and Cameron had a long distance relationship with Cameron coming to visit every chance he got. By December 2023, Cameron completed his Masters degree (his third collegiate diploma) and after Christmas moved in with Jordan in Cincinnati. Living together felt natural - Jordan loved having company after work (and having a good cook finally) and Cameron was grateful to not be driving back and forth from Cincinnati anymore! Cameron started his new full-time job as an accountant in September 2024 and the pair adopted their dog, Binks. This season of life was their favorite - busy with work, raising a puppy together, and feeling like their own little family. They knew that they wanted to spend forever together! Over the next year, Jordan and Cameron focused on work and continued to build their relationship with one another - moving into a home together (plus Binks), progressing in their careers, and talking about marriage. By March 2025, Cameron took Jordan ring shopping at Richter & Phillips and Jordan got to experience the princess treatment by trying on all kinds of beautiful rings. Now, Jordan really couldn't wait to marry Cameron! Cameron worked throughout the Summer of 2025 to plan Jordan's dream proposal. He asked her parent's permission, bought her dream ring, planned a secret engagement party, and secured a photographer for the special day. On August 23, 2025 Cameron asked Jordan to be his wife in a surprise proposal at Chippewa Lake. To no one's surprise, Jordan said yes! The two celebrated their engagement with their families and friends that night at The Oaks thanks to Cameron's meticulous planning. Jordan and Cameron will be tying the knot in Akron, OH in November 2026 surrounded by all of the people they love the most. They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together!
