Brooklyn and Luke’s story began when Brooklyn was 16 and Luke was 17 — two high school sweethearts from different schools who had no idea just how much the Lord was about to intertwine their lives. Luke first got Brooklyn’s attention by sliding into her DMs on her birthday and reacting to plenty of her BeReals, but their story truly started thanks to their sweet friends, Brayden and Reese, who set them up on their very first double date at Top Golf. Somewhere between the laughs, conversations, and Luke’s golf swing that had Brooklyn completely in awe, something special began. As the dates continued, it quickly became clear that what connected them most deeply was their shared love for Jesus. Watching each other’s hearts for the Lord shine made them realize this relationship was built on something far greater than themselves. On January 12, 2023, Brooklyn and Luke officially started dating, and the rest has been the sweetest adventure. Over the past three years, they have walked through every season hand in hand. Together they navigated over a year of long distance, started college at Dallas Baptist University, and had the joy of cheering each other on while pursuing the sports they loved. They built friendships together and apart, spent countless hours driving back and forth, made memories on family vacations, and most importantly, grew deeper in their walks with Jesus through every season life brought them. These years have been full of growth, laughter, unforgettable memories, and so much grace. Through every high and low, the Lord has continued to write a story more beautiful than either of them could have imagined. On May 16, 2026, Luke planned the sweetest and most thoughtful proposal surrounded by the people they love most. It was the easiest “yes,” and one of the most joyful days of their lives. Now, as they prepare for their October wedding, Brooklyn and Luke are overjoyed to begin this next chapter together. More than anything, they are excited to prepare their hearts for marriage and for becoming one in a covenant centered on Jesus. They cannot wait to celebrate with the people they love and begin forever together.
