Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved due to the Boilermaker Race, there are many hotels and Airbnb’s available very close to the venue. Please see our page on Travel for suggestions and more information.

Question

Are there any other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

Yes, we are pleased to invite you to a Meet and Greet to see the Bride and Groom at NY Rec & Social Club within the Turning Stone Casino. This gathering will provide an opportunity for guests to meet and connect prior to the wedding day. Food and beverage will be available to purchase. We look forward to seeing you there!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding celebration be an adult-only occasion. Due to venue restrictions, we regret to inform you that children under the age of 21 will not be able to attend. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we look forward to celebrating this special day with you!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I Do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to share and take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will take place indoors, however will still have access to the outside patio.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, with the exceptional of the last hour being a cash bar! The drinks are on us (AKA Steve Randall) and the hangover is on you! We have waited a long time for this day, so please party accordingly!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving at 4:30 pm to give yourself time to get a park and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 5:00pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! The official dress code is Formal or Black-Tie Optional. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, midi formal/cocktail dresses, or formal pantsuit. Gentlemen should wear a classic suit or tux including a tie, and formal evening wear. Please reserve from hues of white and pink for the wedding party.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

When formal invitations are sent out, there will be a tab above where you are able to digitally RSVP. Or you may follow the directions included with the formal invitation.

Question

What if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and the venue with the exact guess count by a certain deadline. While we will send out reminders via text, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

Question

What do I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly when the time comes. Thank you!
