Kaylee and Adam first met in 2004, as neighbor kids living on the cul-de-sac street of Christie Ann Drive in Fishers, Indiana. Many of their first interactions with each other included waiting at the bus-stop, playing tree-line tag with the neighbors, and frequenting each other’s homes for birthdays, holidays, and Colt’s game parties. As the years went on, their families spent numerous spring breaks together and Adam even served as DJ for Kaylee’s orange themed, 15th birthday party. Over the course of the next 15 years, Kaylee and Adam’s friendship grew closer and closer right underneath their noses. They would often innocently look at each other across a room with flirtatious eyes, wondering if their relationship would ever become more than just a friendship. After graduating high school, the two departed for college – Kaylee to Purdue and Adam to IU – and while that divergence could sour even the sincerest of friendships, the two would always pick up right where they left off. Their families predicted their romance from the very beginning. Stacy (Adam’s mom) would often make comments to Carol (Kaylee’s mom) such as, “I don’t care which of my sons marries either of your daughters, we are going to be family one way or another”. In the fall of 2019, Adam finally worked up the courage to ask Kaylee on a date to a Pacers game (although to this day, she swears it was not a date). The two continued seeing more and more of each other afterwards, and then BOOM... COVID happened. They couldn’t see each other for 2 whole months due to Kaylee’s position as an ICU Nurse, but Adam reassured her that he was in this for real and wanted to see what the future held for them. Four years later, and the rest is history. The two now own a home together in the same town they grew up, where they will continue to make life-long memories with their friends and family. Thank you for being a part of our special day. Our people mean the world to us, and it simply wouldn’t be the same without all of you being there. We love you all, and we can’t wait to see you in May!
