We're getting married!

Like many great love stories, ours began when we least expected it. Just before the world shut down in 2020, we met through mutual friends at a bar—a place that, as Rihanna says, might seem like a "hopeless place," but turned out to be exactly where we were meant to find each other. The funny part? We had both known many of the same people for years, yet somehow our paths never truly crossed until that night—or so we thought. Later, we realized there actually was a near-miss moment between us years before, something we only discovered after sharing our stories. Looking back, it feels like one of those moments where the timing just wasn’t right yet. From the very beginning, there was an undeniable connection. There were no games, no uncertainty, and no hesitation—we were all in from day one. What followed wasn't always easy. Together we've navigated long-distance miles, opposite work schedules, and some of life's most difficult moments, including the loss of loved ones and family hardships that tested us in ways we never expected. Through every challenge, we chose each other again and again. Some of our favorite love stories remind us that true partnership isn't measured by the easy days, but by who stands beside you through the hard ones. We've been each other's biggest supporters, strongest advocates, and safest place to land. In moments of grief, uncertainty, and change, we learned what it means to carry one another's burdens and celebrate one another's victories. Together, we've grown stronger, kinder, and more resilient than we ever could have been alone. Over the years, we’ve grown not only as individuals but as partners building a relationship rooted in friendship, trust, laughter, and unwavering support. We’ve celebrated milestones, created countless memories, laughed until we cried, and learned that love isn't just about grand gestures or picture-perfect moments—it's about showing up for each other every day, especially when life is at its most challenging. If we've learned anything from How I Met Your Mother, it's that life has a funny way of bringing people together exactly when they're meant to meet. Looking back, it's hard not to believe that our story was always leading us to each other. What started as one unexpected night became the greatest adventure of our lives. Now, after years of adventures, challenges, growth, and love, we're so excited to begin our next chapter as husband and wife.
