There are two options to fly into Santa Barbara: 1. Santa Barbara Airport - A more expensive option, but 15 minutes and an easy uber ride away from downtown. 2. LAX - Rent a car and drive the 1hr45 minutes or take the Santa Barbara Airbus directly to downtown Santa Barbara. Operates every 2 hours or so. See their website for more info.
For men, cocktail attire includes sports jackets, button downs, and polos; accompanied by slacks or dress shorts. This does not mean floral shirts for men :) For women, colorful cocktail attire includes colorful/floral cocktail dresses, dressy separates, etc. Please note the event will take place outdoors - bring a jacket!
For men, black-tie optional is a tux or dark suit with a bow tie, colorful tie, or bolo tie! For women, think color, floral, and garden party chic. Please wear a floor-length gown, dresses that hit above the ankle, a stylish pantsuit, or dressy separates... The more color / florals the better! Please note the event will take place outdoors and the ceremony will be on grass - it will be chilly at night! Bring sweaters/ pashminas and jackets.

Yes! Transportation will be provided from the chosen hotels in downtown SB. Given our wedding is at a private family residence, our guests must take our provided transportation to the wedding. If you are not staying at the hotel pick up/drop off location, we ask that you uber to the hotel location(s) to catch the bus as there will be no parking on the property. Uber in & out of the property will not be allowed. If for some reason you miss the bus, please call Sophie Spier (wedding planner) at 805-403-0479.
Hotel Pick up/Drop off locations: Kimpton Canary Hotel & Hotel Virginia SB, Hilton. Pick up: The bus will pick up folks at 3:20 pm at either hotel. The bus will leave promptly at 3:30 pm to the venue. Drop off: There will be buses departing from our wedding to either hotel location starting at 9 pm and every hour afterward till midnight.
We love your kids but we kindly ask for no kids during the event - so take the night off :) If you are looking for a sitter, let us know! We can ask around.
