I remember being hopeful for our first date, but I couldn’t have imagined how well it would go. We started out at a local taco place in Fort Collins and then walked around Old Town. By this time it was getting pretty late, but neither one of us wanted it to end. The only thing open that late was a movie, so we went and saw Dune, for a total of an 8 hour first date. A week later, while playing fetch with my dog at the park, Josh asked me to be his girlfriend. I was so excited and nervous I stumbled out words that made it sound like I was hesitant to say yes, but inside I was SO excited. We quickly became best friends and living life with each other has been amazing. I am extremely happy to get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend <3

I remember finding Rachel's profile on bumble and I immediately noticed her gorgeous eyes and freckles, I was smitten. I swiped right instantly. We planned our first date in old Town Fort Collins. I joked that I would be the guy in the top hat and suit. I was so nervous I forgot to bring a mask in the middle of COVID I had to stop at the store and buy one which made me late to our date. She was more disappointed I wasn't actually wearing a top hat than the fact I was late. I felt so comfortable with her I didn't want the date to end. We stayed out for hours and I knew it was the best date I had ever been on. Over the next couple weeks we spent almost every day together driving between fort Collins and Laramie. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her just a few weeks after meeting. I wanted to spend every second with her even if we were just sitting around building Legos or watching trashy reality TV. I can't wait to marry her.
