Hopscotch Portland
super fun interactive art exhibit! There is alcohol for the adults and other goodies for kids. Joe and I had a wonderful time going and absolutely want to go back
International Rose Test Garden
This is one of the locations we did our engagement photo shoot at! Around the time of our wedding not many of the roses will be in bloom however it is a wonderful area to walk around, get a view of Portland or play tennis.
Oregon Zoo
Over 7 years ago we went on our first date to the Zoo. The Oregon Zoo has held a wonderful in our hearts and story as we have revisited several times over the years (rain or shine!) Our favorite exhibit to visit is the Red Pandas!
Knot Springs
Knot springs is one of Lindsey's favorite places to relax. It is a modern spa with various temperature soaking pools, saunas, workout classes, and massages. Make sure you book ahead of time their slots fill up quickly!
Memorial Park
One of Joes favorite pass times is to go disk golfing and memorial park is an entry level course that is full of other spaces to explore within the park. Joe frequently gets discount or used disks at disk golf depot in Portland.
Portland Japanese Garden
This is a place that we have been wanting to visit and will hopefully go see soon! It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful gardens and a delicious tea house.
Stickmen Brewing Company - Tualatin
When we lived on the west side of town we would love having a date night at Stickmen Brewing not only because of the good beer and pizza. But also because they have Axe throwing!
Luce
This has quickly become one of our favorite Italian restaurants in the area. It has a rotating menu that feature local and seasonal ingredients. For good food it is not that expensive. They do not take reservations so often times we will walk across the street and grab a drink or some fries at the Italian beef sandwich shop while we wait.
Mox Boarding House
Mox is a board game store and restaurant where you can rent games for free to play during dinner. We have loved coming here for dinner or drinks as the food is delicious!
McMenamins Kennedy School
McMenamins has locations all over Portland but this is one of Lindsey's favorite locations. It is a hotel, restaurant, movie theater with a quirky vibe. McMenamins is known for giving new life to old buildings, making their own beer/liquor, and hosting events on their grounds.
