Downtown Stillwater
Historic, walkable, and full of charm, Downtown Stillwater is home to local boutiques, antique shops, coffee spots, and restaurants. Weather permitting, be sure to check out the Lift Bridge area and enjoy a scenic river walk nearby.
Saint Croix Vineyards
Located on the same property as Aamodt’s Apple Farm, St. Croix Vineyards is a cozy, year-round winery offering tastings, wine by the glass, and a welcoming indoor space. It’s a great stop for a relaxed afternoon and easy to pair with a visit to the apple farm or bakery next door.

Known for its cozy fall atmosphere, apple cider donuts, and on-site winery (St. Croix Vineyards), Aamodt’s is a lovely place to wander, grab a treat, or enjoy a glass of wine. While early November is toward the end of the season, the winery and shop are often still open—perfect for a relaxed, festive outing just west of downtown.
7 Vines Vineyard and Winery
Just a short drive from Stillwater, 7 Vines Vineyard offers a beautiful, relaxed setting to sip Minnesota-grown wines. With a bright, modern tasting room and sweeping vineyard views, it’s a lovely spot to unwind with friends or family. While the vines may be settling in for the season in early November, the tasting room is a cozy place to enjoy a glass (or a flight!) all year round.

An escape room experience located in the same building as our wedding venue! A fun option for groups and a great indoor activity if the weather is chilly.
Science Museum of Minnesota
Located in downtown Saint Paul, the Science Museum of Minnesota offers interactive exhibits and hands-on experiences — a fun and engaging stop for curious minds looking to explore beyond Stillwater.
Cossetta Alimentari
A Saint Paul favorite for Italian food, desserts, and coffee. Cosetta’s cafeteria-style setup makes it an easy stop for lunch or dinner, with everything from pasta and pizza to pastries and gelato. One of the bride & groom’s favorite spots!
Mall of America
Located in Bloomington, the Mall of America is the largest mall in the U.S. and offers a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. A must-visit spot to check off the Minnesota bucket list if you’ve never been! Bonus: there’s no sales tax on clothing in Minnesota, so it’s a great place to shop for clothes tax-free.
