Getting to Washington D.C. and the Wharf

By Air: Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is the most convenient airport to the venue. It is a 10 minute drive to the Wharf. Dulles International Airport (IAD) is the alternative airport. It is a 45-60 minute drive to the Wharf. By Train: Taking Amtrak to Union Station is another convenient option. Union Station is a 10 minutes drive to the Wharf. There is limited public transportation within DC to the Wharf. We recommend getting a Lyft or Uber from the airport or station. Parking is available at the Wharf for guests who are driving.

Staying at the Wharf

The Wharf is a waterfront destination in Washington DC. This remarkable, mile-long stretch along the Potomac River comes to life with restaurants, retailers, and entertainment—all complemented by monumental views and a vibrant culture. It is one of our favorite places in DC and we can't wait to share it with you! All of our wedding events for the weekend will take place at the Wharf. We highly recommend staying at one of the many hotels located here. We have reserved room blocks at two hotels. InterContinental is our preferred hotel for guests and Hyatt House is our second option.

The InterContinental is conveniently located next to our wedding venue. Reservations using the room block rate can be made using the link below or by calling the Reservations Department at (833) 249-1029. Ask for the Petri-Alini Wedding Room Block. You must book by December 3, 2024 for the block preferred rate. If availability is an issue, please reach out to us.

Hyatt House at The Wharf

We have a second block of rooms and suites at Hyatt House under the Alini-Petri Wedding Block. This hotel is also located along the Wharf within a short 5-minute walk to all of our wedding events for the weekend.
