And so the adventure continues...

Henry and Petra both started kindergarten at Chester Elementary school. Both were weird little kids. Petra aspired to be Hermione Granger and often dressed accordingly. Henry aspired to be a World War II soldier and often dressed accordingly.

Henry and Petra were friends on Facebook-- still having many friends in common despite going to different middle schools, high schools, and colleges-- and Henry saw a photo of Petra taken during the recent expedition she'd been part of in Mongolia. She was sitting on top of a cool truck. Henry knew he had to get to know this cool lady again. He messaged her asking to grab a cup of coffee and hear about her adventures.

Petra and Henry started going out on "real dates" the summer of 2017 when Petra had just gotten back from studying abroad in Sweden. By the end of the summer they had to part ways, Petra going back to school in upstate NY and Henry about to study abroad in Mongolia for four months, but they both knew there was no one else for them. So their official relationship started in August 2017, long distance, with thousands of miles and a 13 hour time difference between them.

Petra and Henry both graduated their undergraduate careers in June 2018 (on the same weekend unfortunately) and moved in together in an apartment in Deep River, CT soon after. And have lived together ever since.
