Emily: As kids, both Cory and I went to soccer camp the summer of my seventh grade year; at camp we exchanged two, maybe three words during the entire time. Still quite debatable how many words. Forever more, we stayed in each others minds lighting a torch toward one another. Fast forward to the now: after dating in high school, we always stayed in each others lives, even if that connection was fleeting memories, to the Global Pandemic 2020 during which I was able to come back to Montana and spend time with the family while the world was shut down. In the meantime, I was able to play a little disc golf with Cory on the weekend. The world conspired against us and there was a huge windstorm in June, where there was literally a tree across every road we tried to cross, but we figured it out and the rest is history. Cory: "I saw her. That was it". I feel the same everyday.
