Cozy & adorable wine bar with incredible food. I'd suggest going in smaller groups (4-6 tops) as the tables are on the smaller side. Bonus points that it's at the base of Montepulciano, meaning you don't have to climb up too far!
Another lovely restaurant with insane views and outdoor seating. This one is toward the very top of Montepulciano, so be prepared to climb. They have an impressive wine list, and a medieval wine cellar that's fascinating to check out.
For the carnivores! Stop here fore a traditional Florentine steak (though they also have pasta & other Italian dishes). It has rustic and charming vibes.
More upscale spot to grab coffee or an aperitivo & relax after climbing up the hills of Montepulciano. Breathtaking views from their balcony & windows!
You can pop into dozens of different shops in Montepulciano to do a wine tasting with no reservation. However, if you'd like to take a tour of one of the oldest & well known underground cellars owned by the famous De'Ricci family - we'd suggest booking a tour/tasting here. You won't regret it.
No need for an explanation here. Prada (and more luxury designers) at discounted prices. Bring your passport!! You'll get a refund on the VAT tax, which can be hefty. NOTE: It's about an hour from Montepulciano, heading towards Florence.
