You’re invited to celebrate the love and eternal union of Laura Renee Peterson and Kevin Eise McDonald on Saturday, December 4th, 2021. The wedding ceremony will take place at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Fitchburg, Wisconsin at 2:30 in the afternoon.

The Peterson and McDonald families invite you to celebrate Laura & Kevin by joining them at The Eloise Wedding Barn in Mt. Horeb for a cocktail hour from 4 to 5:30 pm. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Head downstairs after cocktail hour for a formal plated dinner and cake cutting ceremony. There will be a DJ and LOTS of dancing to follow :) Free shuttle service back to The GrandStay Suites will be available following the reception. Uber & Lyft also available.

On a thirsty Thursday in September of 2016, our paths crossed at Cask & Ale Whiskey Bar in downtown Madison. After nine long months of pursuit by Kevin, Laura finally agreed to go on their first date at Fresco Restaurant and the rest is history <3

Kevin works for the City of Madison as a Lieutenant Firefighter & Paramedic and Laura is a Registered Nurse in the Burn ICU at UW Hospital. To escape the chaotic nature of their careers in healthcare, the couple developed a passion for traveling the world. Laura and Kevin have been fortunate enough to explore numerous countries and continents together. The couple’s shared love of food/drink, history, and travel has only solidified and strengthened their companionship and love. They cannot wait for the world to open up again and for many future travels as a married couple :)

On January 5th, 2021 at Hubbard Ave Park in Middleton, Wisconsin, Kevin dropped down on one knee and asked Laura to marry him <3
