In September 2019, Sydney was invited to a party at NDSU by a friend. By chance, Aaron and a few of his buddies were there too. Aaron and his friends introduced themselves, and we all ended up hanging out for the rest of the night. Before leaving, we exchanged numbers (and Snapchats, of course). We kept in touch, and before long, we were hanging out almost every week! By February 2020, we were officially dating—and we’ve been together ever since. It has been such a joy to grow into adulthood together and to be by each other’s side through it all. In late December 2024, we got engaged! Aaron pulled off the perfect surprise proposal at Bear Creek Winery in Fargo, with help from Sydney’s best friends. It was everything Sydney could have ever wanted and more. In June 2025, we closed on our first house in Moorhead, MN. We have since enjoyed doing renovations and truly turning our house into a home. (And playing a lot more golf!) A few months later, we became cat parents to a little black kitten named Bruce. He continues to be spoiled rotten with lots of toys, treats, and a bunch of love! September 19th, 2026 will mark the biggest milestone for us yet. We cannot wait for you all to join us on our big day!
