Julie and Jon's Travel Plans
We are flying in to Lihue on Monday, July 15th (Julie's birthday) and arrive at noon. We are leaving on Monday, July 22nd to fly to the Big Island for our honeymoon!
Flight
Lihue Airport
Lihue Airport is the primary airport on Kauai. It is about a 20 minute drive from the airport to the Sheraton Kauai Resort and the Kiahuna Plantation Resort.
House Or Rental
Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai
Jon and I will be staying here during part of the trip. We have stayed here the last 3 years that we have visited Kauai, and this is where we got engaged! This resort is directly next to the Sheraton Kauai Resort where our wedding will be, so you can easily walk over. There is a shopping center across the street with restaurants and shops too. You can find great deals for room rates on Airbnb and Vrbo too. Most rooms have one bedroom with a king-size bed and a living room with a sleeper sofa. They also have a full kitchen and other amenities like beach chairs and umbrellas.

Sheraton Kauai Resort
This is where our wedding ceremony and reception will be held. Jon and I will be staying here July 18-22. You can use the link to book a room in a discounted block of rooms for the wedding. The block room rate is good from July 18 - 22. The last day to book with this rate is May 20, 2024. If you would like to extend your stay, email Kelley Patterson at Kelley.patterson@sheraton.com and she can work with you to add dates. This resort is located on one of the best beaches in Kauai and has an ocean front pool!
