In the Summer of 2019, Kyle and I went on a summer mission with Cru to Walt Disney World. We officially met while walking through Epcot, but it wasn't until later in the summer that our relationship grew. During the last few weeks, Kyle and I seemed to spend every day together. The last day of our trip crept up on us, and we simply weren't ready to say goodbye. We decided to pursue a relationship despite living 1,000 miles apart. We spent countless hours on the phone and visited each other every chance we got. Now, we are so thankful to be living in the same city.

It was nearing the end of the summer. Kyle and I wanted to take a trip before things got crazy with school. We only had a few days free, but since we both love road trips, we decided to travel to Charleston, West Virginia. Kyle and I went on a hike to watch the sunrise at Sunrise Carriage Trail. Kyle set up a camera to get pictures of the sunrise and a few of us. I thought he was setting up a timed photo, but he started a video. He grabbed my hands and told me why he loved me. Then, he got down on one knee and popped the question!
