Things To Do

Lunch Spots

Firestone: Famous tri-tip sandwich spot in downtown. Don't let the long line fool you, it goes quick! High St: Hannah's favorite sandwich (turkey pesto on dutch crunch) shop outside of town. Order ahead online as the wait can be long! Small seating area. SLO Brew Rock: Fun atmosphere with lots of seating, making it great for a big group!

Beach

Shell Beach: Where Kyle and I had our first date. Beautiful beach below the cliffs. We recommend parking on Ebb Tide street and taking the path/stairs down. Avilla: Kid friendly, small waves and shops along the waterfront. Parking is a little busier. Pismo: You can surf, beach it or explore the town. Morro Bay: Check out the rock, go kayaking, surf or enjoy slightly cooler weather at the beach

Hike

Easy to Hard - Terrace Hill: Great a view of town! Difficulty: It's a walk on dirt, not a hike! 30 minutes. Islay Hill: Right near Kyle's childhood home. Beautiful view of Edna Valley (vineyards). Difficulty: 1.8 miles, 520ft, 1 hour to finish Felsman Loop: Best loop hike in town! Difficulty 2.5 miles, 570ft, 1 hour 15 minutes Madonna Mountain: Peak with a 360 view of San Luis Obispo. 3.9mi, 1,060ft, 2 hours and 15 minutes Bishop Peak: Tallest peak you can hike in San Luis! 3.7mi, 1,140ft, 2 hours 30 minutes
