Like all the best modern love stories, ours began with two people scrolling a dating app and hoping for someone who actually got their jokes. Connor spotted Ashley, noticed their shared love of Vine, and shot his shot with a clever message. A few puns and plenty of laughs later, we realized we had the same weird sense of humor, and that it was time to graduate from texting to an in person hangout. Our first date? We moved into a cozy Lancaster apartment, where Connor fell hard for Ashley’s cat, Luna, and we began travelling together. When our friend group suggested a trip to Italy, we were instantly in.
