Dancing the night away in November 2014 Rosy and Peter met in Boston. From the first dance, Peter knew in his heart she was the one. With his smooth passada moves Peter wooed Rosy and got her number. The texting started, however, Rosy played hard to get; especially because Peter was a Brandao. As her mom advised, if you're dating a Brandao make sure you are “the only one”. As time went on Peter proved himself to be worthy and on 10/10/15 they became official. Dinner in the sky in Dubai, quiet nights at a cabin in NH, best lobster risotto in Portugal, countless trips to Newport, driving a golf cart in the pouring rain in Belize, rushing to seaport for a midnight butter cake, and espresso martinis in every roof top imaginable, are part of the memories they have created. However, their trip to Colombia in June 2019 has become the most memorable. As Rosy is a planner, she tried to plan out the week, but Peter insisted that she leave the planning for Wednesday night to him. On Wed 6/12/19, after months of planning, he was finally ready to bring his plan to full fruition but not before encountering some obstacles. What was supposed to be a relaxing morning started with a chaotic second day of no running water. However, this did not stop Rosy from pestering Peter about the day’s plans, as Rosy "ten gana sabe" as Peter would say, she insisted that he tell her all of the details. Peter felt some relief when just an hour before his plans they finally got access to running water. Shortly thereafter their tour guide arrived, once outside Peter said he left his "wallet" in the room, but in reality it was to grab the ring. They toured countless rooftops, enjoyed several cocktails, and learned more about the culture. Stepping out of the elevator onto one of the most incredible roof tops at their last stop, Rosy was surprised with her favorite flowers, chocolates, and candid. As the sun was setting, Peter got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him and be his forever!
