Is there a dress code?

Answer

Somewhat. We recommend you dress in your “Sunday Best.” This provides some leniency on purpose. We expect it to be warm, so dress appropriately. Refreshments will be provided, but anticipate warm weather. Semi Formal: Wear Sunday best, nice dresses, shirts and slacks (more than casual, not quite formal)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

You will need to find your own transportation to the ceremony. If you will be staying at Legacy Lakes Retreat Center, you will still need to arrange transportation to and from the airport. You will not need to travel to the wedding, as you will be staying at the venue.

Where is your ceremony taking place?

Answer

Outside. The Ceremony will be held outdoors beside Alligator Lake. The Reception will be held indoor in the air-conditioned Dining Room at Teen Missions. Alligator Lake is a special place for Ellie and Timothy as it’s a location they often walked and talked together.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Between 6:30-6:50 You are welcome to arrive early (6:15pm), as there will be an air-conditioned waiting area. We will have guests make their way to the ceremony once we’re ready to start.

Are there accommodations for food allergies?

Answer

Yes. We will be providing a “build-your-own” style meal, so you will have control of what you eat. There will be options for common allergies like Gluten, Dairy, and Nuts. If you have a severe allergy and require specific dietary guidelines, we recommend you eat before or bring your own meal.

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Parking will be in a large field a short walk from the reception hall/dining room. It is a moderate walk from parking to the ceremony. If you require assistance, let us know beforehand so we can have coordinate accommodations
