We actually met through a mutual friend when I was just in the 8th grade, Dylan in the 9th. Unknown to me, he was actually seeing someone at the time, but that didn't stop me from trying to talk to him! (Just a side note that this is one of his favorite stories if you ever decide to ask him about it....) Unfortunately nothing came out of it at the time. BUT, more than 5 years later, he found a way to sneak back into my life! We've been inseparable since our first date, and now can't wait for our big day!

The day started like any other Saturday at home - spending the day shopping with mom! That night I actually had plans to meet up with my a few of my closest friends for dinner, but we had a pit stop first! We had a little secret we'd been keeping.... one of them was pregnant! The secret wasn't out yet, though, so we decided to take the time to take some announcement pictures of her and her husband. I think the saying goes that if you marry one of us, you marry all of us! So of course we were all in attendance for the pictures! It was my turn to take a snap with the momma-to-be, but the photographer of the group actually was trying to relocate us! She asked me to come around the corner, and when I did, there Dylan was! From the moment I saw him, I couldn't stop crying! It is one of my favorite moments! He surprised me after with a party of our closest friends and family! We felt so loved and appreciated that day, and we are forever thankful to all of those who made it happen! This season of life has been filled with so much love and joy, and now we can't wait to take the next step into a new life together!
