We'd love our guests to be dressed up for our big day! Our dress code is "Garden Party Semi-Formal". For women, think floor length, tea length, or midi dresses/jumpsuits. For men, think dress pants, button ups and nice shoes. If you want, wear a suit jacket, but it'll be June so that is not required! We prefer no jeans or tennis shoes. Our wedding will be both indoors and outdoors, assuming the weather cooperates. The ceremony area will be on the grass, so please plan your shoes accordingly!
We have a hotel block at the Cascade Hotel in the Country Club Plaza, which in Kansas City, MO. There are several hotels in this area close to our venue (Simpson House). We do not have attrition rates for our hotel block, so feel free to stay where you feel comfortable! Kansas City is hosting the World Cup the week following our wedding, so we recommend booking hotels with plenty of time in advance!
You all know we love kids, but unfortunately, our venue is fairly small, and we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. Reach out to Emily if you have any issues or questions.

No, we will not have separate transportation provided, so we ask that you have a designated driver or call an uber should you need one. There is free parking in a parking lot at the venue.
We kindly request that all guests arrive at the venue by 4:15 PM to help us begin our ceremony and celebration precisely on schedule.
