How to get here

We are so grateful to those of you coming from out of town for our special day! Getting to upstate NY can be challenging, because of how far we are from the airports. Here are some tips: - Our reception venue is about 20 minutes from Wallkill Bethel, so if you’ve travelled and stayed in/near Wallkill, you know the drill! - The easiest airport to fly in to is Newark International Airport in New Jersey. It’s about 1.5 hours away -White Plains is also a great option. Breeze Airways has affordable flights in and out of White plains, it’s about 1.75 hours from Wallkill. This is a very easy airport to navigate through and it’s small. Renting a car would be the best option from here. - The next easiest airport fly in to is LaGuardia Airport. It’s in the city, but they’ve been managing traffic well there lately. This airport is closer to two hours away. -JFK is an option but can be stressful to get out of, and it’s a good 2+ hours from us because of traffic. - The easiest way to get upstate from the airports is by renting a car. However, from LaGuardia or JFK you can find an Uber Shuttle from the airport to Grand Central Train Station. From there, you can take the Metro-North to Beacon, NY. From Beacon you can Uber to your Airbnb or hotel (likely 30 + minutes away, and expensive). This could be ideal if you’re staying with local friends or have friends who will be driving you around. We don’t recommend this method for our more anxious travelers or those with bigger families.
