This park is extra special to us because its where we got engaged! It is a great place to walk around and with a coffee. Spanning over eight acres along the Cooper River, Waterfront Park features the iconic Pineapple Fountain, tree-lined paths, and scenic views of Charleston Harbor, making it a beloved spot for both locals and visitors.

This is where we went right after our engagement. Amazing customer service, wine, steak and an overall special feel. Family-owned restaurant valuing hospitality & a dining experience that guests revere. Lunch, Monday-Saturday. Dinner, 7 nights a week, with live music daily. We even received a hand written card from our server the next week!
Mex 1 Coastal Cantina
Denise and Lou love this low key, beachy tex mex spot! Mex 1 is a fun, surf inspired beach bar in Sullivan's Island serving up coastal tacos and infused margaritas all in a friendly, laid back atmosphere - a vibe that embodies the surfing and coastal lifestyle paralleled to the Baja Peninsula culture.
Port of Call Food & Brew
Port of Call is a great causal restaurant on Market Street. Lou and Denise love their patio and they typically have live music outside. It's a great place to grab a beer and lunch on the weekend.
