Question

Dress CodeDress Code

Answer

Cocktail Attire Renfaire/fantasy-styled attire encouraged for reception (but by no means required) If you’re the type who likes a themed outfit, lean into our love of all things fantasy, LoTR, vintage fashion, and historical costuming — don't worry about wearing white or matching the bridal party! If in doubt, a suit and tie or cocktail dress are perfect in any color or style. Gentlemen should remove hats inside the church. Ladies should wear clothing which covers the shoulders, falls at least to the knees, and does not have excessively low necklines or cut-outs (or throw a shawl/sweater on for the ceremony and lose it after). No jeans, no shorts, no t-shirts, no sneakers/crocs/casual shoes. Keep in mind that although it will likely be cold outside, the reception venue will have two wood fires burning, and is actually quite warm even in the winter. There is time to change between ceremony and reception if you’re inclined to do so.

Question

Answer

Due to the size constraints of our historical venue, invitations are issued to the designated guests only. Invitations to named guests are not transferable.

Question

Catholic MassCatholic Mass

Answer

Our ceremony takes place in a Catholic church. Please respect the sacredness of our place of worship by following the dress code guidelines for the ceremony. In addition, please refrain from using your phone, even to take pictures or videos, while you are inside the church. Our photographer and videographer are awesome and will get all the angles and photos from the ceremony that we need! Please step out into the gathering room if you must be on your phone. The reception of Communion is limited to Catholics. If you are not a baptized and practicing Catholic, you may either remain in your pew or join the Communion line with your arms crossed over your chest to indicate that you would like to receive a blessing from the priest instead.
