Welcome Friends & Family

Andrew and Kaitlin met through a mutual friend (Lydia we’re talking about you!) at a party in September 2022. Ever since then they’ve been inseparable, traveling all across the United States from California to New York City, supporting each other through marathons, graduations, and countless moves. Andrew and Kaitlin have never lived in the same state the entire time that they have been together. Andrew has moved from Annapolis, Maryland, to Charleston, South Carolina and back to Fort Meade, Maryland for his active-duty service in the Navy. Kaitlin has continued to support him from her home in Fredericksburg, Virginia as she continues her work as a mechanical engineer at Dominion Energy. Andrew and Kaitlin are excited to move to Maryland together after they are married.

Kaitlin had set up some time to meet with her friend Lydia at her favorite coffee shop in Williamsport, Alabaster‘s, with Andrew and Lydia‘s boyfriend Brady. Little did she know that Andrew had already contacted Lydia and Brady, and asked them to help persuade Kaitlin to go on the Riverwalk so he could propose. After getting coffee, Andrew asked Kaitlin if they could go to the Riverwalk, which she replied how cold it was outside (it was 5°F) and then it may not be a very good idea. They decided to go anyway, and after about two minutes of being on the Riverwalk, Andrew asked Kaitlin to marry him. After getting some pictures, they all quickly ran back to the car to warm up. The rest is history!
