We’re getting married!

Peter and Kate met on a night out with friends at what is now one of their favorite restaurants, the Lost Fox in One Loudoun. It was a cold night in February, just one week after the Eagles lost to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Peter will tell you that he only went up to Kate so he could take advantage of the heat lamp she was sitting under, but every one else knows the truth. They talked all night long, and when Kate and her friends had to go, she typed her number into his phone. In a hurry, she mistyped her area code. She swears it was accidental. To this day, Peter is skeptical. In a move that Kate found so thoughtful, he remembered that she said she was from Mississippi, so he googled Mississippi area codes to try to guess the correct number. He considered it to be a complete shot in the dark, but his text went through! Almost three years and one dog later, Peter asked Kate to marry him at the same restaurant and table as the one they shared that cold night in February.
