We eloped!

Let's Party!

Jennifer and Peter met in December 2015 during his pharmacy midyear conference in New Orleans, LA, Jennifer’s home at the time. They were introduced through some amazing friends (Thanks Phil x Viv!) and spent their day exploring the city and enjoying road beers and southern fare. Four years later in November 2019, they were fatefully brought together again in Southern California to celebrate the life and love for their friend Philip Armendi. During a party at the “NYC Airbnb”, Peter saw Jennifer from across the room and knew he met her from somewhere. With enough liquid courage, he walked across the room to talk to her. As he got closer, he suddenly remembered, “That’s the girl I met from New Orleans”! It was a great conversation, and they learned that she moved to Chicago, and he left NYC to move to Portland. They exchanged numbers and a casual friendship soon blossomed into a deeper connection. They shared books and songs together, created playlists, and spoke every night on the phone. Their long-distance relationship was short-lived, as Peter eventually helped pack up Jennifer's belongings to make the long drive from Chicago to Portland to live with each other. The two spent the last 3 years sharing their love for Sacramento, their two cats Mamo and Maxwell, and their love for cooking and hosting dinner parties. Despite both growing up in Sacramento and sharing many of the same friends but never meeting, they finally found each other. They have been filled with love, happiness, adventure, excitement, comfort, and a LOT of amazing food. On December 31st, 2022 Peter and Jennifer eloped at Cathedral Park in Portland, Oregon. Calvin Lee performed the marriage ceremony, and it was witnessed by their Portland family.
