Welcome to Madison, the wonderful place where we have spent the last decade together! Come celebrate with us the night before our wedding at a local brewery that has been one of our favorites. We will be providing heavy hors d'oeuvres (appetizers) and there will be a cash bar. We hope you can come by and enjoy downtown Madison! Getting to the venue: We recommend walking from the Park Hotel to the Great Dane. The fastest route is about 5-8 min. Parking: There is limited street parking nearby.

Ceremony

3:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Formal/Black-Tie-Optional Attire: Dark suit and tie or tuxedo and long dress or elegant cocktail dress are preferred, but not required. Please look nice!

The Gates of Heaven and James Madison Park hold a special place in our hearts. We spent one year living two blocks away from this beautiful park that is located on the shores of the stunning Lake Mendota. We always loved walking Scout and enjoying the sunset over the shimmering water. Come be a part of our wedding ceremony as we start our next journey together. Getting to the venue: We recommend walking from the Park Hotel to the Gates of Heaven ceremony venue. The fastest route is about 10-15 min and goes straight through the Wisconsin State Capitol building--you can even stop in to cool off (if it is hot) and use the restroom. Parking at venue: Parking is limited. There is a small public lot for the park (first come first serve) near the venue and limited street parking nearby. Restrooms at venue: There are restrooms available to guests, but they are not ADA accessible.
