Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science
This is where we had our first date, a laser light show at the Planetarium. A great place to go during the day for both kids and adults. Check for their seasonal events!
Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
You may recognize some of the places in our engagement photos if you come here. We've gone on more than a few picnics at the Botanical Garden, and in January, the weather will be perfect for a stroll.
Munroe Park - The Barnacle
A cool historical park and forested area in Coconut Grove which gives a look back at early 1900s, when travel to and from Miami was exclusively by sea. The Barnacle also has guided tours, which we highly recommend.
Lincoln's Beard Brewing & Cocktails
One of our favorite breweries. Don't forget to get a burger at Lala's!
Sanguich Coral Gables
A great spot to get a quick lunch, one of the best places to try a variety of Cuban sandwiches, "batidos" (smoothies), and refreshments. A favorite of ours, since it's walking distance from our place.
Apocalypse BBQ
Hands down some of the best BBQ in Miami, and our favorite. If you're willing to get up early on Sunday, make the line and get some amazing food!
