On July 7th, 2025, Peter and Thalia spent a day of their Puerto Rico vacation exploring the city of Old San Juan. After a whole day walking around the city under the blazing Caribbean sun and eating delicious food, they took a sunset stroll on the beach. But this wasn’t just about the photos. Escambrón beach, with its stunning view of El Morro and the sea, was a place that held meaning; a tribute to Thalia’s Puerto Rican roots and the perfect setting for a forever moment. With the sunset painting the sky and Thalia completely unaware of what was coming, Peter popped the question and pulled off a perfectly planned surprise. With tears running down her face, Thalia said yes! It was a chaotic and energetic day, followed by the perfect sunset. One that they will never forget.
