Is There a Ceremony?

Answer

We will have a small, intimate ceremony for our immediate family and close friends. Those invited will be notified on their invitations. Otherwise, you are welcome to arrive at the Pier House at 5:00pm for Cocktail Hour!

Will the reception be inside or outside?

Answer

We have planned for the majority of the reception to be held inside, but we have access to the entire pier, so you are welcome to be outside!

What Should I Wear?

Answer

The dress code is festive & coastal. Think floral dresses, khakis, button-ups, etc. No color is off-limits, as we do not have a wedding party. We ask that you refrain from wearing jeans, athletic wear, and sweatpants. Shoes are up to you, but we hope that you will be dancing, so keep that in mind :)

Can I Bring a Plus-One?

Answer

Great question! Your invitation will indicate if you've been given a plus-one. If you do not have a plus-one, we ask that you do not bring one, as we have allotted for a certain amount of food/drinks during the reception.

Can I Bring My Kids?

Answer

We love that you asked! While we'd love for your kids to join us, we ask that you leave your little ones at home for the night. Enjoy a night off from parenting

How do I get to the Pier House?

Answer

The Pier House is located at the Kitty Hawk Pier next to the Hilton Garden Inn Outer Banks. If you are staying at the HGI, you are able to walk right on down to the pier. If you are staying elsewhere, you are free to drive and park in the hotel parking lot, or you can get an Uber/Lyft.

What is the food and beverage situation?

Answer

Fear not - you will be fed! The Cocktail Hour will have light h'or douevres, and the reception will have a buffet and open bar. We'll have ice cream sundaes for dessert along with cake!
