Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We truly love your little ones, however, for this special occasion we’re planning an adults-only celebration. We hope you’ll take the night to let loose, sip something fun, and dance with us into the evening!

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We will be providing complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and the venue. Please note that the shuttle will make one trip in each direction. For transportation to the venue, kindly be in the hotel lobby by 5:20 PM, with departure at 5:30 PM. For the return, the shuttle will pick up outside Crystal Plaza at 11:50 PM and depart at 12:00 AM back to the hotel. An emergency sprinter van will also be available if needed; however, we kindly ask that guests plan to utilize the shuttle whenever possible.

Can you elaborate on the dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will be held indoors, and the dress code is Black Tie. For gentlemen, tuxedos or dark formal suits are both welcome. For ladies, floor-length gowns.

What to Do Between 'I Do' & the Reception

Answer

Following the ceremony, there will be a short break before the evening celebration. We recommend guests return to the hotel to relax, freshen up, and get ready for the reception. For those taking the shuttle, please be in the hotel lobby by 5:20 PM for a 5:30 PM departure to the venue. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! Suggested restaurant/bar: The Retreat Bar & Terrace at Hilton Short Hills If your room is not ready upon arrival (unlikely, but just in case), the hotel offers luggage storage and changing rooms where you can freshen up. The front desk will be happy to assist and direct you.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Invitations that indicate “+ Guest” allow for a plus one. If your invitation does not, we appreciate your understanding.

What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies that should be noted?

Will there be a Brunch the morning after?

Answer

Yes! Please join us for brunch, courtesy of the family, from 9:00–11:00 AM in the Mendham Room, located on the lobby level. If you need assistance or directions, please stop by the front desk.

What is the parking situation for the Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

Ceremony Parking is available on-site at the church. Two groomsmen will be outside to assist with coordination and direct guests upon arrival. Guests may enter through either the main entrance or the side entrance. Reception Complimentary valet parking will be provided at the reception venue.

What are the hotel directions and parking?

Answer

The hotel is located directly across from The Mall at Short Hills on JFK Parkway. As you near the hotel, turn into the main driveway entrance and follow the drive up toward the front entrance and valet area. If you miss the first entrance, there is an additional access point farther down JFK Parkway that will also bring you onto the hotel property. Complimentary self-parking is available in both the hotel garage and adjacent surface lot. After parking, follow signs to the main lobby for check-in and wedding transportation details. Hotel staff will be happy to assist with any questions upon arrival.
