Although we cannot remember the exact moment we met, we became friends right away at an APU event, before even starting college. We lived in the same dorm our freshman year, crossing paths every day and thinking nothing of it. In 2020, both of us transferred to Zoom University. Even though we were online as we got to know each other, we slowly fell in love. In spending time in prayer, God revealed to each of us that there was something special here. After taking Sarah on one of the greatest dates of all time (an incredible hike with 10 waterfalls, Powell's bookstore, and lots of coffee), Peter nervously said to her, "I don't know if you know this, but I have a huge crush on you." She knew.

While hiking at the crack of dawn, we ventured up Sentinel Dome in Yosemite National Park with Sarah's family. As we stood in awe of the incredible 360° view of the park, Sarah's dad nonchalantly offered to take a photo. To Sarah's surprise, Peter dropped on one knee and nervously said, "I don't know if you know this, but I have a huge crush on you," and asked her to marry him. After nearly three years of dating, we are both incredibly excited to celebrate this sacred union before God. We ask for your prayers in this time of preparation for marriage. See you on June 22!
