Penny and Peter's Favorite Day-Time Date It started as a small roadside fruit stand and has grown into a sprawling 70,000-square-foot destination combining produce, sweets, gourmet food, garden supplies, 6 greenhouses and more. It’s not just shopping, it’s an outing: picnic tables by the fountain pond, beer garden, food-truck style eating options, and a strollable garden area make it more than just a market. A local MUST SEE place
Peter and Penny's Favorite Local Date Night is ZapZone XL High-speed go-karts for racing thrill-seekers. A multi-level LED-lit laser tag arena for team battles. Axe-throwing lanes for those up for something bold. A huge arcade with over 100 games for families, kids, or just letting loose. Plus bumper cars, mini-golf, bowling, a rage/smash room and more.
Peter and Penny's Favorite Hike The Ledges hold a special place in our hearts. This is where Penny’s grandma used to take her and her siblings exploring as a kid, and over the years it’s become one of Penny and Peter’s favorite trails to walk together. Whether you’re into hiking, photography, or just a peaceful stroll surrounded by nature, it’s a meaningful spot to experience a piece of what we love about home. The Ledges are dramatic sandstone cliffs rising above the Grand River, with trails along and around them offering beautiful views and a pleasant outdoor experience. One of the most iconic photo-backdrops in our region is the historic railway bridge / train trestle that spans the river at the cliffs. It adds a rugged and adventurous feel to the scene. The trail system is relatively easy and accessible, you don’t have to be a hardcore hiker. It’s perfect for a relaxed stroll, a nature break, or a quick detour before or after the main festivities.
