FAQs

Here are answers to common questions to help you feel prepared and enjoy our wedding weekend at Sundance.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Night Before: Summer Garden Party /Western Chic - think summer dresses and khakis Wedding Day: Formal attire. Men should wear suits and ties; women floor-length dresses. We recommend avoiding stilettos, as there is a hill to the ceremony, and bringing a light jacket for the cool June mountain evenings.

Question

What’s the weather like at Sundance in June?

Answer

Days are warm (70s–80s), but evenings cool quickly. Layers are best.

Question

Are kids invited? Is childcare available?

Answer

We love your little ones, but Saturday's wedding events will be an adults-only celebration. Babysitting services are available through Park City Sitters or Guardian Angel Babysitting. Both have experience with events at Sundance. Please reach out to them directly if you would like to use their services.

Question

What is the altitude? Will it affect me?

Answer

Sundance is about 6,000 ft. Stay hydrated and pace yourself if you’re not used to the elevation.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

If you are not staying at the resort, parking is available on-site—just follow the signs for guest parking.

Question

Will vegetarian /vegan/gluten-free options be available?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Question

Do I have to bring my ID if I want to drink alcohol at your wedding?

Answer

Yes, please make sure you bring your ID. Utah has weird alcohol laws and bar tenders have to ask for it.

Question

Are phones/cameras allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—we have very talented photographers who will be handling documenting the event.

Question

Should I come ready to party?

Answer

Uh... yeah you should come ready to party and bring your dancing shoes.
