Flight

Sarasota (SRQ) is the closest airport.

All accommodations (downtown, Siesta Key, Lido Key etc) are an Uber drive from the SRQ airport (10-20 minutes). United, Delta, Southwest, American and Allegiant fly into SRQ. Guests can also fly to Tampa (TPA) which is an hour and 15 minutes away.

My sister-in-law, Mary, is a real estate agent in Sarasota. For those wanting more of an on or near-beach experience, renting a condo/airbnb may be ideal. Especially if you plan on staying more than 2 nights as many places do have 3, 5 or 7 night minimums. We have several guests staying on Siesta Key (beach area of Sarasota) already!
