The Wedding of

PJ and Meghan's love story began the old fashioned traditional way...a dating app. At the time in 2019, the pair found it a little taboo to start a relationship this way, and thus the mega lie commenced. Meghan's parents believed they met through a mutual friend at Adelphi University where she attended school, while PJ's parents believed they had met at a party (both sets of parents would find out the truth...eventually...years later when PJ and Meghan felt they were in the clear). Regardless, the two matched and spoke very frequently, first over snap chat and then over texting. And their first time meeting in person you might ask? That would be their first date at Applebees. Yes, Meghan turned her iphone location on incase PJ might be a murderer/serial killer/psycho stranger. After hitting it off, PJ and Meghan had a few more dates but were separated in the winter during holiday break and then spring break and then...COVID 19. The ultimate test of their relationship, only a few weeks of officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend, the world would shut down and Meghan would move back home to Massachusetts, continuing her education. PJ remained home in New York working throughout the start of the Pandemic as well as continuing his education. Distance was tricky, still getting to know each other, again over the phone. But the two were committed to this new blooming relationship, despite this challenge. For the first three months, they face timed most nights and watched Stranger Things and Tiger King over Netflix Party (they also tried to watch The Outer Banks, but Meghan was too shy to admit she hated that show and instead watched Friends while pretending to watch The Outer Banks with PJ). Eventually reuniting in June of 2020, Meghan was able to visit Long Island again. Keeping things traditional, PJ invited Meghan to his family vacation in the Outer Banks, NC, although Meghan was only meeting his parents for the second time during that summer visit. While Meghan's mom was reluctant to let her go on vacation with practically strangers at the tail end of a very scary pandemic, Meghan was all for it! It was there that PJ and Meghan said their first "I love you". Taking chances has lead PJ and Meghan through a beautiful journey together. Soon they would become a National Paramedic and a Registered Nurse. PJ would ask Meghan to move into his parents house, so they could be together after graduation. They would start a lot of new jobs. They would navigate the challenges of living together for the first time and they would eventually move out to their own apartment, and fall more in love. They would travel the world together, exploring places like Cancun, Punta Cana and, Key West. They would face a number of more challenges along the way. All the while celebrating new victories like PJ becoming Lieutenant, Captain and, Chief of the firehouse. Through many trials and tribulations, all of the obstacles they faced to be together, and the milestones they achieved, PJ and Meghan are just starting their lifetime Love Story.
