July in Brisbane is winter time, but you can expect it to get to mid 70* during the day and 50-60's* during the night. The sun here in Australia is very strong, even in winter so please be aware and wear sunscreen if needed!

Yes! You most definitely can rent a car in Australia with a U.S. driver's license. Just remember, we drive on the left here and be aware of road rules. There are many cell phone and speeding cameras, and you will get a big ticket for those!
